Elana Deuble is currently working as the Director of Clinical Initiatives at Community Medical Services, an organization that operates treatment clinics for individuals with opioid-use disorder. She has many years of experience working as a social worker, both in direct practice as a clinician and in supervisory and leadership roles. She is passionate about educating others on trauma and its impacts on the body and brain, as well as creating trauma-informed care workplaces. Prior to her work as a social worker, Elana worked in Jewish education as both the USY youth advisor and a teacher in several Jewish religious schools. She spent a year abroad studying at Hebrew University and enjoys visiting Israel whenever she gets the chance.
Elana’s heart lies with her family. She and her wife, Erin, are the proud parents to three kids at Temple Chai ECC. She looks forward to bringing her voice and experience to the Temple Chai Board. |
