Singing in our adult choir is a wonderful way to join the clergy in leading worship and sharing music in concerts. Rehearsals are filled with spirited, intentional singing as well as exploration of our sacred texts. Our choir has become a close-knit group and all are welcome. Past performances have been at High Holy Days, Shabbat Chanukkah, Chanukkah in Carefree, Shabbat Shirah, Cantor’s Concerts, and Yom Hoshoah Commemorations.
Participation in our Adult Choir is a benefit of Temple membership. |
Kol Chai, Temple Chai’s youth choir, is a talented group of singers in grades 3-6 who regularly add beautiful music and meaning to services and events in our community. Kol Chai means "voice of life" and our main goal is to bring fun and music to Jewish life at Temple Chai and the greater Phoenix area. Highlights of our year, is sing at Kabbalat Shabbat services, concerts for Chanukkah, in senior homes, Phoenix Suns basketball games, Holocaust Memorial Commemorations, Temple Chai concerts, and much more. We rehearse on Sunday afternoons after RS with lunch provided by the Chai Cafe. Rehearsals focus on learning music, text, expression and fun! The choir community is a great place for kids to make friends and get to know our Cantor.
