At Temple Chai, the custom is for each congregant to own a High Holy Days Machzor. Mishkan HaNefesh consists of a set of two books – one for Rosh Hashanah, and one for Yom Kippur.
Mishkan HaNefesh will be used for Erev Rosh Hashanah services, Morning services on Rosh Hashanah, Kol Nidre, Morning Services on Yom Kippur, Yizkor, and Nei'la.
