Eva Turner, Youth Group Advisor

Eva Turner joined Temple Chai as the Youth Director in the late summer of 2023. She has been an active member of the Jewish community since 2013 when she helped start a youth group in Tucson. She held many roles on TYG boards, serving as the RCVP and President on a local TYG and becoming the Head Song leader of NFTY-SW from 2015-2016. She then went to the University of Arizona where she obtained a BA in Politics, Philosophy, Economics, and Law with a minor in Judaic Studies and a certificate in Middle Eastern Studies. She continued her educational journey by obtaining her MS in Econometrics and Quantitative Economics. During this time, Eva was the song leader at a temple in Tucson where she received the Gendell Award of Teaching Excellence and went on to be the Youth Director. Upon graduating, Eva temporarily entered the consulting world, working as a state and local government consultant for two years before moving to Phoenix. She is excited to join our team of dedicated professionals and eager for the start of the school year!
