![]() In 2018 my wife Jeane and I moved to Phoenix to be closer to the grandchildren. While she had retired, I continued to work throughout the pandemic, and have only recently reduced my consulting practice. I now focus on labor issues for a limited number of clients. During my 40 plus year career in Human Resources I worked 28 years for the City and County of San Francisco as Human Resource Director for the San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency and the San Francisco Public Library. After my retirement from the City of San Francisco I continued my career first as the Director of Organizational Development for the Exploratorium and subsequently as Human Resources Director for the San Francisco Art Institute. While in San Francisco I served on numerous boards such as Our Family Coalition, California Youth Connection, Union for Reform Judaism, and Congregation Sha’ar Zahav. I served as Education Committee Chair, Personnel Committee Chair and President of Congregation Sha’ar Zahav. I am currently a board member of Jewish Free Loan and of my HOA. Jeane and I have 4 adult children and 4 grandchildren, living in Gilbert, AZ, San Francisco, and Los Angeles. While the pandemic slowed down our full entry into the Phoenix Jewish community, I am thrilled to join the board of Temple Chai at this exciting time.
